Everything You Need

Had a wonderful time at this 3 bedroom Bahama bay condo resort in Orlando Florida, I stayed in top floor Condo, had a balcony that looked across a lake with a fountain. The condo had every thing you needed, oven, micro wave, coffee maker, kettle, knife and forks etc it has 3 bedrooms sleeps up to 8 people and a pull out sofa and 2 on suites bathrooms with walk in showers, each bedroom had tv, the beds were lovely and comfortable and had enough pillows towels 2 bedrooms had a balcony opposite the lake and a connecting balcony to the diner. The Resort has a man made beach, fishing dock, as its by davenport lake, volley ball nets , table tennis , tennis court, pool tables and 2 restaurants and a club house. 4 swimming pools biggest was 5 minute walk to trade winds restaurants across from me condo and the other at the club house which you can see from the balcony It also has a nature walk around the resort. 10 minutes from Disney world by car. Down side resorts has no lifts and restaurant is card only. Building 20 916 was the one we stayed in, I booked with Homesofamericarentals.com

Just Right

Just right for our family! We visited for the 2nd time in a year just recently in Mar '23. Was just as good as the first time in Oct '22! My kids love the (4!) pools, the sandy beach area, and the hammocks. Mom and dad love the location, amenities, spacious units with a full kitchen, and the value. We booked different rental units both times on other apps, but had no issues either time. Many units have wonderful updates... Some units may not, from what I read. That's to be expected since each unit is privately owned. Both times the units were well cleaned and check in was a breeze. It felt great knowing that the community is gated and there is security there. It's great seeing all the families and vacationers enjoy the wonderful Florida weather! Conveniently located to grocery stores, restaurants, and of course, theme parks. Don't forget about Legoland! It's less than an hour away! This is why we booked it the first time because of its closer location to Legoland (south) and proximity to Disney and universal. We just got home and my kids are already asking when we can go back to Bahama Bay again!

Skipped Disney

I chose this place because it was less than half the price of the hotels closer to Disneyworld, where my daughter and I planned to spend a couple of days. But the Bahama Bay is so spectacular that we ended up skipping Disneyworld entirely! Our “room” was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with enormous kitchen, dining room, living room, screened patio area and laundry room. There were works of pottery and art in every room, leaving me to suspect this was a privately owned vacation home. The resort has 4 pools, 6 Jacuzzis and a splashpad, as well as 2 ponds and a private beach with a fishing dock on Lake Davenport. My daughter and I went down to the beach at 4:30 one morning to watch a star shower, then walked out on the dock at 5:30 to see a Space X launch. What a tremendous experience. The grounds also have shuffleboard, billiards, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, ping pong, a wonderful restaurant, a lounge, room service, gated entry, and an all-night store. What a deal!
